The
PROFILEEN ® sewer pipe is a profiled HDPE pipe with spigot
and socket, it can be delivered in lengths up to 6 meter (standard).
Because of flexible production engineering the pipe can be
delivered for all kinds of embedding conditions and all ring
stiffness classes. The nominal diameters are equivalent to
the inside diameters and start from 300 mm and stop with 3500
mm. |

For
connecting pipes or other flexible materials with rigid material
e. g. a wall, there are different variants of PROFILEEN ®
wall adaptors. On the left you can see a short piece with a
rubber ring outside. |

The
PROFILEEN ® house connection can be delivered with rubber
ring connection or as a welded joint. In both cases the house
connection pipe will fit to the conventional fittings and couplers
to also connect to other materials than HDPE. |

The
PROFILEEN ® adaptor pipe, also called “bauku-easy
cut system” was invented to allow the production of accurate
adaptor pipes at works or on job site, if fix points in the
pipeline make the use of standard length pipes impossible. Adaptor
pipes can be delivered smooth on both sides, with spigot or
socket. |

The
PROFILEEN ® double socket can be delivered in the sizes
from 300 mm up to 600 mm diameter to make the use of the PROFILEEN
® - adaptor pipes even more easy. |

The
quality of the joint technology determines the quality of
the entire pipe system that is why we don’t make any
compromises. We have the right joint for every application:
Rubber ring joint:
Rubber ring joints can be delivered for the diameter from
300 mm up to 1200 mm and are integrated into the socket. The
rubber ring is shielded effectively against damages and exterior
influence. This joint method is the cheapest one and is very
fast in installation.
Extrusion weld joint:
We weld our pipes according to DVS 2209, part 1 with method
I, II or III. Depending on the diameter we are able to weld
from the outside, the inside or inside and outside. This joint
method can be used for all diameters. This joint method is
the one with the best quality, a fact which is proven in 50
years of praxis.
Electro fusion weld:
Here an electro weld fitting is integrated into the socket.
The wires of this fitting are heated and therefore the socket
and spigot melt together. This joint method can be delivered
for the diameters 300 mm up to 800 mm. This joint method is
the most complicated one, especially for the contractor, who
has to fulfill a lot of requirements.

PROFILEEN
® - products are made from high density polyethylene (HDPE).
The raw material is delivered as resin (pallets) and can be
supplied in different colours. The outstanding properties of
HDPE are the reason why this material is second to none in drinking
water, gas supply and many other areas. Also in other sensible
areas like for example the landfill, our products guarantee
high safety for man and nature.
Since 1956 bauku is producing black plastic pipes. The lighter
colour – the bauku-grey – is a reaction on changing
demands of the customers. The pipes are now lighter inside which
makes the camera inspection or maintenance much easier. Furthermore
the pipes don’t take so much heat from the sunshine, so
there are no problems of deformation and expansion due to the
thermal energy of the sun.
